Nichols does Spain, Gute and Randall do Vail and Manning stays local in Colorado Springs

Team member Alex Nichols travelled half way across the world to Villaver, Spain--in the Ribargorza region of Spain's Central Pyrenees--to run the 2012 Skyrunning World Championships Trail Marathon on July 8. He placed 8th OA in 4:41:41 after taking a few falls on the grassy, rocky and mountainous course, "complete with 9 falls and a few near death stumbles", as he stated.

In local racing, Simon Gutierrez made the podium at the 7.2 mile Vail Hill Climb placing 3rd OA in 53:42. Glenn Randall placed 32nd in 1:02:49 after struggling with a injury.

Tommy Manning competed in the Summer Roundup Trail Run 12k in Colorado Springs, the second leg of the Triple Crown of Running, where he placed 25th in 53:17 as he is preparing for the World Mountain Running Championships to be held in Ponte di Legno, Italy.
